i'm finally 60% recovered from a whole week of party....hahahha.....i've been to Bangkok for number of times, ones every few months infact...but yet it's the most tiring trip i ever had....Finally it's the Songkran festival (Thailand New Year - water festival). which means wet wet wet and party party party.....yiipppiiiieee....i missed last years songkran coz i was in the tv show...... Took the last flight from LCCT on the 9th. it was the first time going to Bkk with Peter(lil'sis), Claire took the earlier flight so she's in Bkk already..... when we reach there it was around 12am+, so there wasnt anything much we can do besides checking in to our hotels.....so, we dropped Peter at his hotel where he'll be sharing with Claire.....Then Ed and me went to our hotel......and what else was there to do for a greedy guy like me?...F O O D....yummy...hehehhe..
had to have my supper......went across the street from the hotel and found pah thai, somtum(thais papaya salad) and grilled fish....yummmy yummyy..DAY 2 - woke up quite early....coz have to work.....met up with Claire and Peter after lunch and went shopping at Platinium....cheap cheap stuff....hahhaaahaa......then went to Suan lum night bazaar for dinner and shopping.....after that...we went to Silom for thai traditional massage.....this time the massage was nothing to shout about....so dissapointed..the quality had dropped.....both for their skills and messure...hahahhaa...
DAY 3 - started the day very relaxing....had breakfast at the hotel..then went for a tan and a loght swim at the pool....there alot of PLU staying at t he hotel where i am staying at.....they were everywhere at the breakfast area and also at the pool...hehee.....i caught a guy having a glimps of me a few time at the breakfast table...and i met him again at he pool...hahaha...well, we just exchanged smiles....that;s all...just being friendly.....after a light swim at he pool i got ready and got out for work again.....while waiting for taxi....i met that guy again....gosh, was he stalking me?.....hahahhaa..no way....he was with another guy who i think is his partner.....he saw me, smile and said hi...then he introduced himself and it was nice to make new freinds....then i met up with Claireand Peter for shopping again, it was another tiring day shopping...hhahhaha......Night time, we met up with Ethan and went to DJ Station....then saw Nicholas sitting outside DJ....it;s been quite sometime since i saw him....so it was really good to c him there.....it was the first time i can c the whole DJ Station...hahahaa..was we were there quite early....coz it'll definately be a full house and more than that.... and true enough the whole place was packed within minutes....before show time...... it was a fun and entertaining show i may say....and they;ve deifnatley improve on their miming skills...hehehhee....DJ was sossoososs fun...and of course ther'e were alot of Malaysians there too...hahhahaa.....it felt like laqueen for a moment......after DJ we went to have supper....Chicken rice was sold out flat....so we went to have noodles.....siiting there i saw alot of people passing by.....and it was good to c alot of familiar faces....especially freinds from overseas that i seldom meet.....DAY 4 - woke up not very early coz had a tiring clubbing nite at JD ....hehhehehehe...was planning to wake up early for JJ market...but couldnt be bothered...i need my sleep....hehehhee.....it was a very very very HOT day at JJ .....suppose to meet Andrew there....i reached early and walked around first.....when they reached...i was too exhausted and Hot and wanted to leave already...hahahahaa...So, i went to rest at the hotel.....We met up with Peter in the evening at Health Land...to you people who love massage....this is the place to go.....so so so so nice...i strongly recommend it......it was a what i really needed after a long day of walking ans shopping, especially the heat.......felt so much better and i ws ready for PARTY.....hehehee...first day of the SK II party was at ZEN - it was a great night to kick the party off..... but there were a few complains...the music wasn;t that great at the beginning ..but luckily it got better at the end.....or maybe it was the alcohol?...hhhmm......it was held a t an empty department store so most of the music went somewhere else so the impact wasnt that great.......that night i met Kelvin .....it's was so so nice to c him again....havent seen him for ages....the last time was 2 years ago in Shanghai.....he's such a sweet and great guy......he introduced me to his good friends also from China....and they were really nice and freindly.....it was a great night and it ended around 4am.......DAY 5 (Happy Songkran) missed breakfast again...hahahha.....woke up quite late...then met up ith Ethan at Siam Centre...he wanted to look for shoe and i had to look for nice, sexy, white swimming trunks for Ed...hhahhaahaa.... i took Ethan to my favourite shoe shop....:( so sad....coz it was closed....well, i predicted it coz it was the 1st day or their New Year.....nevermind try again tomorrow...hhahaaa....so we went to Siam Paragon to look for his shoes and trunks....nope...nil...nothing nice..
walking with Ethan is always nice...coz we both love eating...so we stop to buy drinks....fruits....snacks....hehehhee......then we desided to walk to ZEN......coincidentalyl we saw Kelvin and his friends...they were on their way to pray at The Four Face Buddha.....i was so very dissapointed with the selection of swimming trucks they have in Bangkok.....so little choice...so ugly....aaaaaaaaaaahhh.....how could it be.....so many PLU and nice sandly beaches and not much swimming trunkss...hhhhmmm.....maybe they just dont wear anything ...hahahhaa.....time really flies....we had to meet Claire and Peter at Silom to play and splash water..hehehehe...i went back to the hotel to pick Ed ip...but he wasnt feeling well...he needed more rest coz too much of partyingfrom previous night....hahahahhaa.....so i went to Silom to meet up with Claire, Peter and Ethan......On the way there in the taxi....i could c everyone so happy splashing water to anyone and everyone.....it was very touching to c the smile on everyone's face....young/old, male/ female, they were haveing fun and enjoying themselves......when i reach silom i was like....WWWWWWWWWaaaaahhh....the whole street had people everywhere with waterguns, buckets of water.....i knew i was gonna get wet instantly......we were suppose to meet at Burger King....so i told the driver to stop me there but it was the oppostie side of the road.....to my surprise i managed t o get into Burger King from across the road without getting wet at all...wow....hahahhaha...but when i reach there..i could c them..i called many times but no one answered...ther were nowhere to be seen....finally Peter answered my call...he said they r waiting outside....i looked out and i couldnt see them....hhhmmm..strange.....he kept telling me to come out...so it did....when i step out...they were all waiting for me with water guns and water water water....in less than 3 seconds i was wet top to bottom, inside and out.....aaaaaahhh....i was being attacked by a whole troop of wet looking people with plastic guns....hhehhehee.....it was really really crazy....to bad i didnt take any pics this year..but u can see the pics from 2 years ago Songkran in my 2 years ago post...hehehe......we played water from 4pm and we were getting tired and hungry hehehee....so we had dinner at a Noodle place infront of GOD.....Peter and Claire decided to go back...me and Ethan continued enjoying our Songkran with Kelvin and his freinds after dinner.......then we finally got tired and decided to go back to the hotel coz we still had a party to go to.....hahahaa.....i tooK the BTS coz it was impossible to get a cab......felt so awkward taking the train all drenched soaking wet with white stuff on my face...hehhee..but so was everyone else...it was so so so cold...even cooler than my winter days back in Sydney...reached the hotel...showered and rested awhile before i continued to party throigh the night.....day 2 of the SK II party was at Central World....the space was a long stretch of hallway, quite awkward....i didnt enjoy day 2 of SK II at all eventhough the quality of the music was great coz the music stayed in and could actually feel the impact....but the DJ was not great....i felt i was in my room playing CD track by track.....after a song ended, there was a pause for the next song to start.....hate it when that happens, especially when i;m all hiked up and high dancing my night away....and sudddenly at 2am sharp...the music really stopped ...longer than previous....turned out that there was a police raid. legally clubs in Thailand are only allow to open till 2am nowadays......so they came and made sure the party did end at 2am....damb....just wen we're getting real high......so we had to go.......and hoping the party will continue after some discussion or bribery between the organizer and the police...but sadly it didnt happen..too bad...so we decided to go to GOD....hahahaa..the night was still young....PARTY on......we decidedto take the tuk tuk coz it was impossibel to get a cab coz everyone was waiting for it.....when we were around the corner of Silom....i told myself ..oh no..we took the wrong form of transport...they were stil playing water....and before we knew it, as we reached our destination....someone splashed us from the back with a bucket of water even before we got off the tuk tuk...aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh.......we quickly ran across to the little lane of GOD...and found that there was a very very long que....gosh....it was crazy....people screaming....and someone's hand got cut and was bleeding alot....we finally managed to get into the club.....and music was great....love it so much... it was a full house.....they were playing all my favourite tracks.....but around 5am...i could take it anymore...it was getting too crowded and i needed air.....so i went out to get some air......then decided to go back........DAY 6 - missed breakfast again......damb..should have rested awhile...have my breakfast first then sleep....hahahahha...well, anyways.......woke up quite late...then Peter and Claire cam to our hotel coz Peter had to leave....he;s going back to KL.
so we went to Platinium to have lunch....after lunch went back to hotel to rest again.....needed as much rest from previous nights and also reserve my energy for the final party at night...hehehe..
after resting awhile i got bored and decided to go to Siam Paragon to meet Ethan ...Ed wanted to have more rest..so i went alone......when i reached Paragon...Ethan was already on his was back to his hotel...so i went shopping alone.....the whole city was packed with people around....wow....everywhere i go i c PLU and especially Malaysians..hehehee....met up with Ethan and Nicholas around 6pm....then went to pick Ed up from the hotel to have dinner at China Town.... one of a must eat place in Bangkok....the seafood's good..and remember the one with the green uniform..NOT red...hehehhee......the four of us had a very very full dinner....i think we ordered food for 8 pax...hahaha..but obviously we finished it...with Ethan around...left-over will never be a problem...eehehehehe.......after dinner we went to HealthLand for our massage....it was another great massage session.....and now ready and energised to party again....hehehehe....final night of SK II party was a bomb....it was the best ever...especially with Princess Ann spinning.....really felt like i;m back at Laqueen....it was a wet and wild party.....soaking wet.....there was water splashing from the rooftop and luckily Nic brought his watergun with him.....music was great , crowd was happened....the party ended at 4am.....after the party we ajourned to GOD again ...the que was as crazy as the previos nite..
and music was great too...but, not even half an hour in GOD the night had to end...it closed....gosh..i havent even changed my drink coupon yet ...so dissapointed....the night was still young so we went to after party at a friend's place....and wow...it was like a whole building of plu....hahahaa...we partied on till then next morning.....then suddeny Nic told me that Ed started throwing up...so i had to take care of him....i was so worried.....but at the same time funny....coz ah Man and Dior was making a home video of Ed throwing up hugging the toilet bowl the whole morning...hehehhe....gosh it was gross...i took Ed back t o the hotl around 8am....make sure he;s alright coz we had to catch the plane at 5:30pm.....hehehe....luckily he woke up fine.....so did some final packing and on our way to the airport...hehhee....that was one of the best and most tiring trip i ever had...unbelieveble.....heheheheee......Good night..
It was a very fun and memorable night...Thanx to everyone for dressing up.......Ed prepared most of the food....he;s such a great cooK....we had lots of food especially laughter...hahaha...it was also fun getting ready and dressing up fr the party.....hope we will have more parties soon....Thanx guys...and Happy Birthday Wick...wish u all the best for the future....muax muax..
