NIKE Rockstar Workout Dance-Hall '07

Guest started lining up at around 5pm....doors only opens at 6:30pm.... wow....the que started to build up...which was a good sign....we r all excited to get it started....The night started with Yoga, then Cardio and Finally the Nike Rockstar Workout Dance-Hall.....we had a ball...it was very tiring...but it was well, worth the sweat...... cant wait for the next Nike event.....c u all next year ...

Nike Rockstar - It was a Hot day ...we were there since 2:30pm for rehersal and briefing....hair and make up.....but it was so so so HOT.....well, at least it's the right atmosphere coz really felt like i was at a real beach resort.....

19th March 2007 - 2nd Round Audition (5249838654)

9:30am, back at Panggung DBKL for my 2nd round of auditions……and yes there were still a lot of hopefuls waiting for what the judges are gonna comment…. We waited again till around 12 for the auditions to start. The auditions were divided into 4 sessions, 2 on Sunday and 2 on Monday. And each day it was divided again into 2 sessions, 1 morning and the other in the evening. We had heard news that it was tough…. Only 3 contestants got chosen for the Boot-camp and some failed and most got a call-back for a 3rd audition to win a place for the boot-camp. The auditions started around 12pm, and this time everyone are allowed to go in to the theatre to watch one another perform…the judges were quite lenient…..there were few bad ones but yet they were given a chance for a call-back for the 3rd audition round….. but they were quite strict with the boot-camp….more than 10 contestants and still no boot-camp yet…and there were few good ones and they also didn’t get the boot-camp, only call-back. It’s getting nearer and nearer for my turn already, and nerves r starting to get into my system…..i tld myself to calm down…..and just do what I was here to do……Finally 2 contestant before my turn got a Boot-camp…..he had his own style, very sharp movements and great body posture……WoW….Finally, my turn…I told myself …just give all I’ve got and pray….. it was time for the judges to give me my comments….1st judge – really couldn’t remember wht he said…but it was very positive and I couldn’t stop smiling…..2nd judge – “your performance was great and u gave us 300%, u have style, balance, control, rhythm, and a perfect body for a dancer”. 3rd judge – he paused for awhile and said “Boon Kit…I like you”…..wow…at that moment, I felt unbelievably happy and I couldn’t stop saying “thank you”…hahahahaa….he did gave me other great positive comments but all I could remember was those 3 words…..i got 3 YES..but what I wanted to c was the ticket for Boot-camp….i waited for few seconds and started walking off the stage…while I walked off I saw the judges picking up the ticket and discussed and finally they gave the Boot-cam ticket,…wow….the feeling was un-explainable……. I screamed and walked off the stage…then I fell..but who cares….coz I GOT THE BOOT-CAMP….yyyiipppiieeee…Next Tuesday 27th till Friday 30th March will be the boot-camp….out of the 40 contestant they will make final cut to the top 20 finalist, 10 guys and 10 girls……I really hope I will make it to the top 20 finalist….only when I make it to the top 20 the competition really starts….But even before that…I would like to thank all my friends and family who have supported me….even those who joins my classes at all the fitness clubs….THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART…..all your support and confidence in me really means a lot to me….i will never be able to do it without u all…..LOVE U ALL…..and hope I will make it to the very end…..and make everyone of u proud of me….

16th March 2007 - Round 1 Audition

it's 9:15am in the morning and the audition line reached around 50 people. . . it was a hot sunny day, queing up under t he hot sun coz the registeration has not even started. it was suppose to start at 9am.... there were alot of different types of people, an equal numbers from Chinese, Malays and Indians...... everyone was getting very tired even before we started the auditions...

11am+ only they started the registerations....and it was very slow.... finally i got my number 10060, which means i was number 60 in line...then we entered the waiting area... Waiting again and agian...the auditions didnt start until about 12pm...everyone was exhausted of waiting.. we were put in groups of 10.....after 2 groups went in.... it was time for lunch break....which makes the audition process even longer... after lunch we started very late again.....it was intense as it is getting close and closser to my turn..... i was lucky that i know most of the people in my group. I was the second person in my group, next is Leo, Claire, Rebecca, Trinity(the sexy girl who got second in the Martell dance competition), Vera. We had to line up on the stage and introduce oursleves one by one....then the music starts and we had to dance to the same piece of music chosen by the judges one at a time....and we got a terrible song....Pump it by the black eye peas....the beat was so fast and hard to catch....well, all i had to do is just try my best to impress the judges for the few seconds that they gave me....was is good enough?....i knew i did really bad...coz i didnt even know what i was doing....after the whole group finished...we were all taken to a stair way and waited there with the other groups and also wait for more groups to finish their turn.....finally after more than half an hour of waiting the results were in.....they called out numbers and my number was called....i tought to myself...ok, this is it...it's the end, i'm going home... so we were divided into two groups..... but they never mention which group had failled the auditions......we were all so intense....i was holding on to Leo's hands so tightly waiting for the moment.....finally the announced...the numbers they hadjust called had made it in to the next auditions....it was a relief, i was so happy....thought that i could not make it coz i really thought I performed badly .....Me, Leo, Rebecca and Vera made it through to the next audition round. wish me luck for the next round...
