Time Flies...

Cant believe it;s been sooooo long that i havent updated my blog... dont even think anyone is even reading it anymore. Seriously, is anyone bothered to read my blog anymore? if yes, please do reply a comment. would really appreciate it and will try my best to update it as frequently. :)
Anyways, it;s been a really progressive, busy and positive first half of 2011. cant believe we're already in the 2nd half of the year and there;s still so much to do.
One of the main event was my 30th Birthday bash, it was such a touching event as all my bestfriends from overseas friends came, some from China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Korea, Singapore, Jakarta & Canada. Life would be so meaningless without having great friends around. Friendship has always been the most important aspect of my life. Friends comes and go, but true friendship will always stay in our heart no matter where they go.

This year has also been great coz i was given a chance to Mentor the top 10 Finalists for the Ford Supermodel Malaysia 2011 Competition. Trainning the girls up wasnt easy at all as most of them did not have the experience but they were very determined and PASSIONATE about what they are going into. Congrats to the winner Atiqa, she will be representing Malaysia in New York for the International competition. She has style and her own unique walk, that is wht stood her out fron the pack. she certainly wasn;t the best, but she was definately the most unique of them all.

After the Ford Supermodels comepetition, i was also been asked to Mentor the Top 10 Finalists of X Top Model Malaysia 2011 where the winner will be signed with Elite Models Hong Kong. This is another great project. Here i was mentoring the girls not only in the catwalk and posing, but teaching them how to be different and stand out.. teaching them how to talk properly, and to bring their individual poise out, gym sessions and dance lessions too. screaming at the girls to make sure they remember every single thing they need to know. Their biggest weakness was their speech, interview skills. so it was a diffeicult task preparing them for the media, at the beginning they were not feeling it, but towards the end of the competition, i do see some that really shine infront of the media. My team and i were also assigned to be their grooming and stylist for their photoshoots. it was a great success and we loved every single shots. I also followed the girls to Hong Kong and Nansah China where the girls had to do few tasks and fashion shows which turned out great. Flora Zeta was their trainer there and she was great. we all had a blast there and by the time we came back to KL. it was time for the Grand Finale where Sim Hui took the title of becoming the '1st X top Model 2011 winner', Jojo & Fancy took the 'best catwalk' title, Grace took the 'X Shot' best in photoshoot title. all ended with a great success after al the hard work.

S'pore Trip Aug 2008

It's been 3 months since the last time i was over at S'pore.... It's a great short break that i needed from all the hardwork and stressfull 2 months+ doing the SYTYCD project.... Kelvin will be Flying to S'pore from China and Andrew will be flying from Hong Kong.....the last time i met them was in Bangkok, during Songkran...fun fun fun..wet wet wet....hehehee.....

Best Chicken, BBQ Pork Rice

For all u Chicken rice or BBQ Pork (Char Siew) rice lovers...this is the one....... seriously the best i've ever tasted....originally Hainanese Chicken rice.....the Chicken is so so tender, especially the BBQ Pork (Char Siew).....flavour is superb and texture's exellent, great combination of lean meat and fats..... it feels like .....(just donno how to explain)....when u bite it.....i'm missing it already...
this Chicken rice coffee shop is located in Kluang.....sorry, didnt get the address....but i'm sure if u ask the people around that area, they will be able to direct u.......Kluang is in Johor......another famous Kluang eating place at the Railway station.....coffee's great and their roti kaya toast....those living in KL might know Kluang Station where they have the famous Hainanese Chicken Chop.....well...it;s original came from the Kluang Railway station....but the railway station doest serve chicken chop...hehehehe.....for those who wants to try to Chicken rice... pls be there early...they're always sold out even before 1pm....

New Straits Time - 1st Aug 2008

Been a crazy, stressfull and exhausting 2 months+ working on this project.... it;s finally over.. the hardest part of styling the 2nd Season of "So You Think You can Dance" Malaysia is getting everything ready from concept, ideas, sorting out wardrobe, co-ordinating colour scheme, going around buying, renting, sourcing materials, designing and actually sewing and making the costume within few days with a very tight budget and ahving a fitting session with all the contestants 2 days before the live shows every single week. and if that wasnt hard enough, the killing part is dealing with the censorship for the M'sian regulation that is allow and not allow to be shown on national television.....really stressed me out....there r time that i couldnt give the contestants wht i had visioned the design to be, mainly coz of censorship.... tights r a must for the contestants to wear, and must be knee length.......really spoiled the whole look for the outfits....aaaaaaaaaahhh....but it;s reality and it;s Malaysia......it's really finally over and i can relax abit aready... gonna start teaching classes starting from next week.... i need more jobs..hahaha..... addictive to work....cant wait to go for my holiday in Oct though.....yiippiiiee...
